Immersive Experience

EEPO is a smart home system that allows users to control their home appliances through voice commands. It's part of thesis work and involved a dedicated six-month effort to develop a functional prototype. The development process was comprehensive, beginning with brainstorming and extensive literature reviews. It further encompassed in-depth research and interviews with target users, culminating in the meticulous design and development of the application.

Objectives:

Smart home technologies often lack intuitive, accessible interfaces, making it difficult for users—especially those less tech-savvy or with specific needs—to control household appliances efficiently. This creates barriers to everyday convenience, comfort, and independent living.

Solution:

EEPO is a smart home system that enables users to control appliances using simple voice commands. Developed over six months as part of a thesis project, EEPO combines natural language processing with user-centered design principles. The system was shaped through extensive research, user interviews, and iterative prototyping to deliver an accessible, hands-free solution for modern home automation.
